LETTER: Keep moving with Greenbaum, Labow, Nicastro, Roman

EDITOR: Mayor Rob Greenbaum and council members Colleen Labow, Joe Nicastro, and Alex Roman have governed with integrity and have exhibited sound fiscal responsibility, while maintaining and often expanding the services Mount Olive residents have come to depend on.

For example, there has been no municipal tax increase in the past seven years and the town is number one in Morris County in terms of shared services.

The mayor and council bring a diversity of viewpoints to the table and consistently govern with the entire township’s best interests in mind. They are open-minded and willingly listen to and take into account all input provided by residents. This does not mean that every single idea is implemented, but each idea is evaluated on its own merit to determine how it fits into the larger vision for the township.

The administration and council have made significant improvements to the township, which have provided additional areas of enrichment for the town’s residents. Some of these include Turkey Brook Park (including the dog park), improvements to the library and senior citizens center, renovations at Flanders Park and the pool at CenterCourt.

Remember the reasons you chose to move to Mount Olive Township and that Mayor Greenbaum and council members Labow, Nicastro, and Roman played a major role in making this town what it is today.

To continue this momentum, please join me and my family in voting to re-elect Mayor Rob Greenbaum and council members Colleen Labow, Joe Nicastro, and Alex Roman on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
